There is a lot of jargon used within the care industry, and none of it really does what it says it is supposed to on the face of it. Client empowerment. What does that actually mean and how does it translate to the physical day to day efforts a care company provides for their clients? To be flexible? To be kind? To be everything that that client used to be but no longer can manage to be on their own, without some help and support. That is what it means. What does dignity and respect mean to care companies? I find it can vary greatly from company to company, and within that company, from carer to carer. None of which is ideal for the client.
Well I am that client. I have however, found out what these words, this jargon really means when translated into one company, with three amazing ladies at the center of this company. With a stupendously diligent, incredibly reliable, well organised and actually client centered business run and owned by Claire Treg…
I could not have wanted for a better company to help to support me to be what I know I have lost, with the lost of my health. I say to people , that they are like having my brain back out in the world again. Its as though, although my physical health has declined so much as to make leaving my bed most days impossible, they do what is intuitive, what they can almost see I need before I know need it.
Now, if every company were run this way, what a world we would have. But at least we have one company that is. Thank you Claire and team.
